Coordinating and presenting the Annual 4th of July Fireworks Show;
Providing funding for community based organizations like: the Culver-Palms
YMCA; Culver City Little League; Culver City High School Athletics; Culver City
Youth Health Center; Culver City Senior Center; and other charitable organizations.
Membership is open to all persons who either live or work in the local area.
The cost of membership is a low monthly dues payment which includes weekly lunches at the Elks Lodge. Each member is expected to work on one or more of the local community service projects conducted by the club (e.g., Annual Search for Talent Show, 4th of July Fireworks Show, Get Out the Vote projects, Senior Citizen dinners, etc.).
Want to do something to help? On May 10, 2008, we are again, co-sponsoring the "Cruisin' Back to Culver City" Car Show. The event will take place in Downtown Culver City on Culver Blvd and Main St. Contact Jeff Cooper via e-mail at: [ jcooper336@aol.com]. We are expecting over 400 really nice cars.
